President Obama speech at the West Point Military Academy

Yesterday, Pres. Obama announced an additional 30,000 troops to be deployed to Afghanistan in early 2010. In the new strategy, troops will begin to transfer out in July 2011 while the U.S. continues to assist Afghanistan’s Security Forces. The President also focused on strengthening partnerships with the int’l community.
