Cameroon are about to announce a new coach for the Indomitable Lions…

According to sports paper Marca, Cameroon have agreed terms with Spanish coach Javier Clemente to coach the Indomitable Lions, whose former coach Paul Le Guen was fired after the central African nation’s flop at the 2010 World Cup.

Clemente signed a two-year contract on Thursday with the Cameroonian delegation in Biarritz, France, according to reports.

The 60-year-old Spaniard has managed Real Sociedad and French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille. He will be faced with the task of reviving Cameroon’s dwindling football, with uncountable fans being impatient to see their team shine again like in old days.

Goal.com‘s source at the Cameroonian FA says no official announcement has been made, but local media have already carried the news.
